Trip time is here!

Well, so much for keeping a diary of my thoughts as I prepared for my trip to Costa Rica...I really haven't been able to focus on preparations for the trip since my mom's death a month ago.  So much to do following her death, including 2 trips to Wisconsin and lots of paperwork.
I leave for Costa Rica early tomorrow morning.  My suitcases are packed and I'm trying to spend the rest of the day relaxing.  I know that I won't be able to sleep tonight--I'll be excited, anxious and worried that I won't wake up in time to get to the airport by 5:30am.
I am excited because I've never been to Costa Rica before and I love exploring and learning about new places.  I've heard it is beautiful there and I can't wait to see it.  I also can't wait to be someplace WARM!  
I am a bit anxious because I still really don't know what I've gotten myself into.  I do know that teaching is something I can do, but will not knowing the language be a barrier?  It is a good thing that sewing/quilting is very visual!
I will definitely have lots to share when I get back--my camera is ready and I have my journal and several pens and pencils in my bag.  Stay tuned...
